Check for damage during transit.3.2 Guide Bar & Chain Installation 1.Align the guide bar with the drive sprocket. 2.Install the chain with the cutter teeth facing the guide bar tip. 3.Tighten the chain tensioner until the chain moves freely but without slack. 3.3 Fuel & Oil Preparation Fuel Mixture:Use a 50:1 ratio of unleaded gasoline to 2-stroke oil.4.1 Starting the Engine 1. Cold Start: Move the choke lever to "CHOKE." Prime the fuel bulb 3–5 times until fuel appears. Pull the starter handle briskly until the engine fires. Shift the choke to "RUN" once started. 2. Warm Start: Skip the choke. Prime the bulb once and start as above.4.2 Cutting TechniquesFelling Trees: Make a horizontal "face cut" and a vertical "back cut" to control tree direction .
