These layers are stitched with polyester yarn.Typical applications:wind energy, marine/ship building, sport/leisure products, automotive, aerospace & defence, etc.1) Unidirectional Fabric:A unidirectional (UD) fabric can be made as 0¡ã orientation or 90¡ã orientation. The majority of rovings run in one direction only. Small amount of rovings may run in the other direction. The layers of chopped mat and/or polyester veil can be added.The UD fabrics have high strength in one direction.
