A123O-TiC ceramic tools are prepared from nanoparticles with TiC content of 20%-30%, and have excellent anti-spalling properties. TiC foam ceramics have better strength, hardness, thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity and heat resistance than oxide ceramics.
