As a result, there is a substantial reduction in production and consumption levels of metallic magnesium.It serves as the quintessential equipment for dolomite calcination in the magnesium industry, epitomizing both efficiency and reliability.The comprehensive process of magnesiumsmelting involves several critical stages: raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, followed by reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is meticulously crushed into qualified fragments (20-40mm) using a high-performance crusher. It is then sintered in a cutting-edge rotary kiln, efficiently cooled by a cooler, finely ground into powder using a ball mill, and subsequently pressed into robust balls via a ball press. This calcined dolomite, achieved within the rotary or vertical kilns, is skillfully processed into 'calcined white', then finely crushed and uniformly blended with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a cohesive dough. This mixture is placed into a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank and then placed within a reduction furnace heated to an optimal 1200-1250°C under a precise vacuum of 1.33Pa.
