It stands out as the ideal solution for calcining dolomite within the magnesium industry, setting a new standard for efficiency and quality.The comprehensive process of magnesium smelting encompasses several stages: raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, followed by reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite undergoes crushing to meet size specifications (20-40mm), then is sintered within a rotary kiln, and subsequently cooled via a cooler. It is then ground into fine powder using a ball mill and shaped into balls by a ball press. This calcined dolomite is combined with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a cohesive dough, which is placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank. Subjected to reduction at 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa, crude magnesium is extracted.
