Product DescriptionProduct DescriptionA needle roller bearing is a type of roller bearing that features cylindrical rollers. Compared to its diameter, the rollers are both thin and long. These rollers are called needle rollers. Despite having a smaller cross-section, the bearing still has a high load-bearing capacity. The needle bearing is equipped with thin and long rollers (roller diameter D ≤ 5mm, L/D ≥ 2.5, where L is the roller length), so it has a compact radial structure. When the inner diameter size and load capacity are the same as those of other types of bearings, its outer diameter is the smallest. It is particularly suitable for supporting structures where the radial installation size is limited. Depending on the application scenario, either bearings without inner rings or needle rollers and cage assemblies can be selected. In this case, the shaft neck surface and the outer shell hole surface that mate with the bearing directly serve as the inner and outer rolling surfaces of the bearing. To ensure that the load-bearing capacity and operational performance are the same as those of bearings with rings, the hardness, machining accuracy and surface quality of the rolling surfaces of the shaft or shell hole should be similar to those of the bearing rings.
