Product Description Product DescriptionThis bearings does not permit any horizontal movement,but is capable of absorbing rotational movement about any horizontal axis by usage of the elastomer pad.It consists of a metal piston supported by a disc of unreinforced elastomer confined within a metal cylinder which provides the load carrying medium.These compact, low height bearings are excellent for vertical loads upto any capacity. Suitable for curved and straight concrete an steel bridges in seismic areas.We manufacture many types of pot bearings - including fixed pot bearings, sliding guided pot bearings and free sliding pot bearingThe basic elements of a Pot Bearing consists of a shallow cylinder, known as pot, an elastomeric pad known as disc,a single or set of sealing rings, piston and sliding surfaces. Masonry plates and base plates are common for the installation of pot bearings, as they allow attachment of the bearings and increase the support area on the pier and abutment.
