Product Description Model YQ127B-8Y(58-93R) hydraulic power tongs are closed-faced with variable torque, hydraulic lift,Pressure oil bath lubrication, hardened internal gears, roller chain final drive and two-speed operation. Because theyare closed-faced, Model YQ127B-8Y(58-93R) hydraulic power tongs stay on the pipe all the way up. You save timebecause you don't have to remove and replace the tongs on the pipe after each joint is pulled. Every joint is grippedwith a unifomm, predetermined torque between 300 and 6000 ft. lbs (0.41~8.13kN .m), which is controlled by settingthe pressure relief valve.Double multiple hardened dise friction clutches drive the two-speed models and can be shifted from high to low gearwithout stopping or meshing teeth.
