Product Description Hastelloy c-276 c22 alloy wire mesh filter cloth 100 120 150 200 meshProduct DescriptionHastelloy C-276 wire mesh (aka Alloy C-276) is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy, with added iron (5.5%) and tungsten (3.75%), engineered to have superior resistance in a wide variety of severely corrosive environments. Its high nickel (~57%) and molybdenum (~16%) content give Alloy C-276 wire cloth excellent resistance to crevice corrosion and pitting in reducing environments. Its chromium (15.5%) content further provides excellent resistance in various oxidizing settings. The high chromium content provides good resistance to oxidizing media while the molybdenum and tungsten content give good resistance to reducing media. This nickel steel alloy also has excellent resistance to oxidizing aqueous media including wet chlorine and mixtures containing nitric acid or oxidizing acids with chlorine ions.
