When started, it draws air and liquid into the pump. The air-liquid mixture is separated in the casing. Air is expelled, and liquid is recirculated until only liquid remains. This enables automatic priming without manual filling. Once primed, the pump delivers continuous flow, even when handling liquids with air or low viscosities.
