Product DescriptionAM Series Pneumatic Diaphragm ActuatorThe AM-type actuators utilize spring-balanced diaphragm actuators that respond to pneumatic output signals from the valve positioner applied to the actuator diaphragm. The position of the valve plug inside the valve is determined based on signal variations.The zero position setting of the actuator is determined by the compression amount of actuator spring, and the travel range is determined by the stiffness of actuator spring.The AM857 actuator is positive-acting, and the AM867 actuator is reverse-acting.These designs enable reliable on-off operation or throttling control of the valve.Specification1.Universality:A variety of spring stiffness and stroke limiter options.Suitable for almost any regulating valve applications.2.Excellent linear relation between loading pressure and stroke:The transversally pressed film moves within the deeper film shell so that the film area changes least over the entire travel range.3.High dynamic stability and frequency response:The shallow film shell on the pressure signal side means that the volume on the pressure signal side is smaller, thus minimizing response times.4.Withstand high thrust:The transversely pressurized film produces max thrust output within defined dimensional parameters.5.Long service live:The rugged heavy-walled cast iron and cast steel construction provides high structural stability, preventing deformation under high pressure, with excellent corrosion-resistant surface coating.6.Apply to low temperature working condition:The performance of all configured AD5 and AD6 pneumatic diaphragm actuators has been enhanced, ensuring reliable operation at temperatures as low as -50℃ .
