Shut off the pipe or hose before attempting the repair. Using sandpaper clean and smooth the repair area and remove any loose particles.2. Apply gloves, take the putty and knead between fingers to fully mix active ingredients. Work mixed material forcefully into any cracks or holesand apply pressure until adhesion begins to take effect.3. Open foil pouch and immerse the bandage in fresh temperate water for 10 seconds. Squeeze bandage 1-2 times while in water to help activation.4. Holding the leading edge of the bandage to the pipe, apply by spirally wrap around with 50% overlap. Keep a firm tension on the bandage atall times and ensure cover an area at least 50mm either side of the damaged section. Build-up the repair with multiple layers, backwardsand forwards over the repair area to at least 10mm in thickness. Maintaining a high tension is critical to the success of the repair.5.
