The furnace is equipped with air distribution plates and hoods, and is covered with 0-3mm fine sand or ash. The blower blows primary wind (air) from the bottom of the furnace, and the wind speed is controlled between the critical fluidization speed (making the particles begin to suspend) and the carrying speed (the particles are blown away). At this time, the bed material presents a fluid state similar to "boiling" to form a fluidized bed.
