Take the original Hyundai and Kia OBD2 female diagnostic port off its original location with tools if necessary and then insert the OBD2 male plug at the end of this OBD2 Y cable into the original Hyundai and Kia OBD2 female diagnostic port. Install the replacement Hyundai and Kia OBD2 female connector at one end of the Y ends back to the original location of the OBD2 female diagnostic port in the car. Then you can connect a telematics or IoV device to the common OBD2 female connector at the other end of the Y ends. You can also connect another telematics or tuning device to the OBD2 female connector which was installed at the original location or leave this OBD2 female connector available for diagnostic use in the future.
