Product Description Please kindly note that we are the manufacturer of this product, not traders or any kind of distributors! The need to operate at greater depths and with longer subsea tiebacks has spurred the development of flowline and riser insulation that is lighter, stronger, and offers lower heat transfer. The high strength and low thermal conductivity of glass bubbles make them ideal additives for use in many wet pipeline and riser insulation applications. The exploration and production of offshore oil is progressively moving to greater and greater depths, which now exceed 3,000m.At these depths, low-density Syntactic Foams can maintain a high level of mechanical performance. The typical composition of Syntactic Foams - based on glass microspheres (diameter of a few tens of microns) - ensures excellent compressive strength under high pressure, deep in the ocean, and a very low density.Glass Bubbles(Hollow Glass Microspheres)have pressure ratings ranging from 750 psi to 12,000 psi and average true densities ranging from 0.25 g/cc to 0.60 g/cc. When incorporated into syntactic foams, they can be used in applications such as: Buoyancy modules, Distributed Buoyancy Modules (DBMs), and Buoyancy blocks for Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs) 1. DescriptionHollow glass microspheres (also known as glass bubbles) are hollow glass spheres made of chemically stable Soda-lime-borosilicate glass with thin walls(wall thickness 1~3.5μm). We have several grades available with true density ranging from 0.20 g/cc~0.63g/cc. Hollow glass microspheres can be used as lightweight functional additives for Composites, Thermal insulation paints/coatings, sealants/adhesives, low-density cementing slurries, and many more applications with very competitive quality and price. 2.
