Electrodes made of boron-containing diamonds are also called BDD electrodes or boron-doped diamond electrodes. BDD electrodes are usually made into thin films by chemical vapor deposition (CVD).In addition to the excellent properties of the normal diamond itself, boron-containing diamond also has the characteristics of low electrical resistance, good thermal diffusivity, high oxidation temperature, and excellent P-type semiconductor properties.Therefore, the application range of boron-containing synthetic diamonds is wider, and it has begun to be widely recognized in the processing and manufacturing and electronic manufacturing industries. Boron-containing diamond (the doping element is boron) has excellent semiconductor properties such as forbidden bandwidth, high breakdown field strength, high carrier mobility, low dielectric constant, and good thermal conductivity.
