This remarkable metal boasts two types of homogeneous crystalline structures: below 882oC, it forms a close-packed hexagonal structure known as α titanium, while above 882oC, it adopts a body-centered cubic structure referred to as β titanium.Alloying elements are categorized based on their impact on phase transition temperature into three types:1. Elements that stabilize the α phase and elevate the phase transition temperature are known as α stabilizers, including aluminum, carbon, oxygen, and nitrogen. Aluminum is paramount among these, significantly enhancing the alloy's strength at both room and high temperatures, decreasing its specific gravity, and bolstering its elastic modulus.2. Elements that stabilize the β phase and lower the phase transition temperature are called β stabilizers. These can be further divided into isomorphic and eutectoid types. The isomorphic stabilizers include molybdenum, niobium, and vanadium, while the eutectoid stabilizers encompass chromium, manganese, copper, iron, and silicon.3. Neutral elements, such as zirconium and tin, have minimal influence on the phase transition temperature. The principal impurities in titanium alloys are oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, and hydrogen. While oxygen and nitrogen greatly enhance the strength of the α phase, they also reduce its plasticity, limiting their content in titanium to 0.15-0.2% and 0.04-0.05%, respectively. Hydrogen's solubility in the α phase is very low, and excessive hydrogen can form hydrides, causing brittleness. Therefore, hydrogen content is kept below 0.015%. Hydrogen dissolution is reversible and can be removed through vacuum annealing.ApplicationsTitanium plates are prized in the shipbuilding industry for their exceptional corrosion resistance, low density, memory, and non-magnetic characteristics. They find extensive use in nuclear submarines, deep submersibles, atomic icebreakers, hydrofoils, hovercraft, minesweepers, propellers, whip antennas, seawater pipes, condensers, heat exchangers, acoustic devices, and firefighting equipment. The primary varieties of titanium alloys include industrial pure titanium, titanium-zirconium alloys, and other specialized titanium alloys.(1) All-Titanium Ships: Shanghai Bolaisheng Metal Group Co., Ltd. excels in the fabrication of all-titanium ships, drawing from extensive practical experience. Since the 1990s, leading manufacturers like Toho Titanium Co., LTD., Nikko Industrial Co., LTD., Fuji Shin Shipyard, and Eteng Shipyard have pioneered all-titanium fishing boats and speedboats. These vessels boast numerous advantages including lightweight design, faster speeds, smaller engines, reduced fuel consumption, lower carbon emissions, no need for surface coatings, and easy-to-clean accessories. Although high material costs and complex manufacturing processes pose challenges, the superior speed stability, vibration reduction, and noise reduction of all-titanium ships have been confirmed through rigorous testing.(2) Atomic Powered Ships: In Russia, titanium alloy is revolutionizing the construction of steam engines, heat exchangers, and ship coolers, replacing stainless steel and overcoming corrosion issues. Titanium steam engines are extensively used in the power plants of Russian atomic icebreakers, significantly extending engine lifespan by up to 10 times compared to traditional materials.(3) Propellers: Titanium alloy is the material of choice for propellers due to its high strength, excellent fatigue performance, and resistance to erosion and cavitation in seawater. The US Navy pioneered the use of a 1,500 mm diameter, four-bladed detachable titanium alloy propeller on a hydrofoil. China followed suit in 1972, developing hydrofoil speedboat propellers. Today, various titanium alloy propeller specifications are available, with diameters ranging from 450 to 1700mm. Our production capabilities include fixed propellers with diameters of up to 1200mm and weights of 130kg. Long-term use has demonstrated that titanium alloy propellers have a service life exceeding that of copper alloy propellers by more than five times.(4) Marine Pumps, Valves, and Pipes: Traditional pumps, valves, and pipes made from copper and stainless steel typically last only 2-5 years under harsh conditions. Titanium alloy replacements have proven highly effective, particularly for large flow mobile seawater pipelines. Russian ship pipeline standards require an initial docking maintenance period of 8-9 years, a service life of no less than 15 years, and reliable operation for 25-30 years across all vessel types. Our AdvantagesQualitative Materials:We utilize premium, top-grade raw materials to ensure our products deliver superior strength, resilience, and longevity.Advanced Technology:Our manufacturing processes incorporate cutting-edge technologies, including advanced smelting, continuous casting, and rolling techniques.Customized Service:We offer bespoke design and manufacturing services to meet the unique needs and requirements of our customers.FAQ Q1: Why choose your company?A: With over 16 years of unparalleled industry expertise and the advantage of having our own state-of-the-art factory, we deliver exceptional services that are further enhanced by our professional and dedicated sales team.Q2: What are your terms of payment?A: We require a 30% T/T deposit upfront, with the remaining 70% due before delivery.Q3: What are your delivery terms?A: Our terms include FOB, CFR, CIF, and EXW.Q4: What is your delivery time?A: Our standard lead time ranges from 7 to 15 days after receiving the deposit.Q5: Can you provide samples?A: Yes, we offer complimentary samples if they are available in stock.
