This version of 316 Stainless Steel contains higher nickel, lower carbon, lower molybdenum and lower chromium content than standard 316L. It is often dual certified and referred to as 316LS Stainless Steel. 316LVM Steel Bar also has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and physiological environments. All of these characteristics make it a great candidate for both medical application and high precision electronics.Alloy 316LVM Steel Bar is a high-performance stainless steel alloy that is specifically designed for medical and surgical applications. It is an austenitic stainless steel, which means it has a face-centered cubic crystal structure and excellent mechanical properties.
