It is thickened using natural fatty acid calcium soap, ultimately synthesizing into calcium base grease.Our calcium base grease is also composed of mineral lubricating oil, boasting medium viscosity and thickened by synthetic fatty acid calcium soap.Performance characteristics(1) With its unique ability to form hydrates alongside calcium soap, the grease creates a highly dispersed fiber network within mineral oil. However, the hydrates of calcium soap begin to hydrolyze at temperatures around 100 oC, causing the calcium base grease to lose consistency beyond this point. Thus, the optimal temperature range remains below 60 oC to maintain lubrication and prevent softening or loss.(2) Renowned for its impressive water resistance, calcium base grease does not easily emulsify or deteriorate when exposed to water.
