A high voltage is then applied to accelerate the electrons through the tube to the anode. Collision with the anode results in the conversion of 99% of the heat and 1% of the electrons into X-rays.2. Application fields of rotating anode X-ray tube:According to different application fields, the applications of rotating anode X-ray tubes can be divided into two categories: industrial and medical. Among them, medical treatment is the largest application field of rotating anode X-ray tubes, accounting for more than 86.3% of the applications. Introduction to fixed anode X-ray tube:Fixed anode X-ray tube X-ray generating device, its anode is fixed rather than rotating. This type of X-ray tube is commonly used in medical diagnosis, industrial testing, material analysis and other fields.   Fixed anode X-ray tubes are mainly composed of a cathode and an anode. The cathode is a metal wire that emits electrons, and the anode is a surface made of high-melting point metals such as tungsten or molybdenum. Under the action of a high-voltage electric field, the electrons emitted from the cathode are accelerated to high speed and then impact the anode surface, producing X-rays.   The advantages of fixed anode X-ray tubes are simple structure, stability and reliability, long life and easy maintenance. However, the disadvantage is that the output power of X-rays is low, usually only about 1/3 of that of rotating anode X-ray tubes. In addition, because the anode surface is fixed, its surface utilization is low, and only about 20% of the anode surface can be used to generate X-rays.2.
