Product Description Boron doped diamond BDDBoron-doped diamond (BDD) is a new type of diamond formed by adding boron in the process of diamond growth. Electrodes made of boron-containing diamond are also called BDD electrodes or boron-doped diamond electrodes. BDD electrodes are usually made into thin films by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). The BDD electrode uses boron-doped diamond film as the electrode anode, and titanium or other materials as the cathode for electrolysis. The special sp3 bond structure of boron-doped diamond film and its electrical conductivity give the diamond film electrode excellent electrochemical characteristics, extremely high oxygen evolution potential and widest electrochemical window, lower background current, and better physical and chemical stability and low adsorption characteristics. It is an ideal anode material for electrochemical oxidation treatment of hard-to-biodegrade organic wastewater.AdvantageBecause BDD electrode has a very wide electrochemical potential window and small background current, coupled with the diamond chemically inert (normal temperature with no acid-base reaction medium), not easy fouling characteristics, suitable for high concentration and strong acid and alkali, high toxicity and refractory organic waste water treatment, viruses and bacteria killing eliminate such occasions, It is an ideal choice of electrochemical electrode materials. What is CVD diamond. CVD diamond (also known as Synthetic diamond, Chemical vapor deposition diamond, laboratory gown diamond, laboratory - created diamond ) is diamond produced in an artificial process, as opposed to natural diamonds, which are created by geological processes. There are several methods used to produce synthetic diamond. The original method uses high pressure and high temperature (HPHT) and is still widely used because of its relatively low cost. The process involves large presses that can weigh hundreds of tons to produce a pressure of 5 GPa at 1500 °C.The second method, using chemical vapor deposition (CVD), creates a carbon plasma over a substrate onto which the carbon atoms deposit to form diamond. The advantages of CVD diamond growth include the ability to grow diamond over large areas and on various substrates, and the fine control over the chemical impurities and thus properties of the diamond produced. Unlike HPHT, CVD process does not require high pressures, as the growth typically occurs at pressures under 27 kPa Size & Shape1, Size: 1*1*1mm , 2*2*1mm , 3*3*1mm , 4*4*1mm , 5*5*1mm , 6*6*1mm,7*7*1mm , 8*8*1mm ,9*4*1mm ,10*4*1mm ,11*4*1mm 2, Thickness: 0.1mm~ 3mm, 3, Shape: Square, Retangle, Round etcCustomized shape and size are available Applicationa, cutting tools for non-ferrous and non-metallic materials.b, dressers for wheel dressingc, a variety of speciallity knivesd, burnishing tools, cutting toolse, wear partsf, wire drawing diesg, seeds for cvd diamondh, optical windowi, gem Paramenters1, Nitrogen content can be less than 10ppb.2, Lateral tolerance: -0.1/+0.1mm3, Thickness tolerance: -0.05/+0.05mm4, Edges: laser cut5, Top and bottom roughness: Polished , ra<30nm6, Thermal conductivity can be more than 1800 W/mK7, Orientation: 2pt <110>, 4pt<100>8, Grade: industrial grade, optical grade, electronic grade, thermal conduction ImagesPackage and DeliveryPackage: cartons , pvc box, opp bag or as per your requestDelivery time: usually 3-7 working days after the confirmation of the depositTransportation: DHL, TNT, Fedex, UPS or as per your request.MOQ: 1 piecesWelcome to send us an inquiry!
