It is the essential equipment for dolomite calcination in the magnesium manufacturing industry.The magnesium smelting process is a meticulous and sequential operation: It begins with raw material storage, followed by dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, and culminates in reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is crushed to ideal sizes (20-40mm) using a crusher. It is then sintered in a rotary kiln, cooled in a cooler, and finely ground by a ball mill. The powder is compressed into balls using a ball press. The calcined dolomite is uniformly mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a dough, which is placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks.
