Product Description Product Description Rotary kiln is a high-temperature thermal processing equipment that utilizes rotating drum technology, primarily used for the continuous heat treatment of materials. The core component of this system is a large inclined cylinder, which rotates via a precision mechanical drive system: the cylinder shell is equipped with load-bearing rollers that are supported by robust trunnion bearings and driven by a specialized transmission device. The unique design features a slight inclination of the cylinder relative to the horizontal plane, allowing gravity to facilitate the axial movement of materials inside the drum. By precisely controlling temperature profiles and material residence time, the rotary kiln effectively induces desired physical transformations or chemical reactions in the processed materials, meeting the process requirements of various industrial applications.The rotary kiln is mainly composed of the kiln head and kiln tail sealing devices and structural cooling devices, cylinder, wheel belt and mounting plate, drive device, support wheel group and support device, transmission system, lubrication system, hydraulic wheel blocking system, tertiary fan and its air supply pipe, installation pads, equipment bottom plate, anchor bolts, special tools, electronic control devices, instruments and control devices.Rotary kiln is a multi-purpose high-temperature processing unit capable of handling various materials through different thermal processes. Its major applications include:1. CalcinationA thermal treatment process that induces chemical dissociation in materials, commonly used in the production of inorganic compounds.2. PyrolysisThermal decomposition of materials in an oxygen-free environment, typically conducted in indirectly heated rotary kilns for precise process control. Widely applied in recycling industries.3. Thermal DesorptionA separation process that uses heat to volatilize and remove contaminants (e.g., pesticides) or recover valuable components from solid matrices (e.g., spent catalysts). Product ApplicationMain application areasCement production: calcining limestone, clay and other raw materials to produce cement clinker, which is the core equipment of the new dry cement production line.Lime calcination: producing active lime for steel, calcium carbide and other industries.Oxidation pellets: processing iron ore concentrate powder, producing oxidation pellets, and improving blast furnace smelting efficiency.Non-ferrous metal roasting: used for reduction roasting or chlorination roasting of metal oxides such as lead, zinc and copper.Catalyst production: calcining molecular sieves, alumina and other catalyst carriers.Solid waste treatment: incineration of hazardous waste, sludge, etc., to achieve harmlessness and resource utilization.Garbage incineration: treating urban domestic waste through high-temperature incineration, reducing volume and recovering heat energy.Working PrincipleStructural compositionCylinder: Made of rolled steel plate, lined with refractory material, tilted installation (usually 3%-5%), supported by supporting wheels to achieve rotation.Transmission system: It consists of a motor, a reducer, gears and a stopper, driving the cylinder to rotate at a speed of 0.5-5r/min.Combustion system: The kiln head is equipped with a burner, which supports a variety of fuels such as coal powder, natural gas, and fuel oil, and the combustion temperature can reach 1400-1800oC.Sealing and cooling: The kiln head and kiln tail adopt scale-type or labyrinth-type sealing devices to prevent air leakage; the kiln body is equipped with a cooling air jacket to protect the cylinder.Working principle of calcining rotary kilnThe material enters from the kiln tail (high end), moves along the axial direction with the rotation of the cylinder, and goes through the stages of drying, preheating, decomposition, sintering, cooling, etc. in turn, and finally discharges the clinker at the kiln head (low end). Heat is transferred to the material through radiation, convection and conduction to achieve efficient heat exchange.Product Advantages1.
