Combined with the wind speed and direction data from the micro meteorl ogical system , the system algorithm can accurately mark the location of the suspected leakage point. The system comprises a methane/ethane analyzer (hereinafter referred to as the analyzer), a BeiDou high-precision positioning module, an ultrasonic anemometer, and proprietary leak detection software. It can display a geographic information map showing the detection location and gas concentrations in real-time. The system utilizes mid-infrared laser spectroscopy technology. Methane absorption in the mid-infrared region is 200 times stronger than in the near-infrared, and ethane absorption is 6000 times stronger. The detection chamber is mirrorless, robust, and compact, achieving a 13m absorption path length within an extremely small volume (60cc). This enables ultra-high sensitivity, fast response time, and low power consumption. The filter is externally mounted for easy replacement, resulting in low operating costs. The system simultaneously detects methane and ethane concentrations, calculates the correlation coefficient, determines the gas type, and effectively reduces false alarms. After satellite positioning is activated and calibration is complete, begin testing.Avoid operating in rainy or snowy weather to prevent moisture from being drawn into the laser cell and contaminating the lens.In winter, the test vehicle must be parked in a garage. If the ambient temperature is below 5°C, the analyzer main unit must be placed indoors.In summer, it is recommended to park the test vehicle in a garage (in a cool, shady location) to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.In non-rainy or snowy conditions, if the humidity exceeds 85%, a desiccant must be installed on the air intake duct. During operation, if the desiccant color darkens, it must be replaced promptly.Do not drive on roads where water accumulates above the air intake to prevent water from being drawn into the optical cavity.Detours are required on dusty construction roads. If testing is unavoidable on such roads, replace the front 0.01 micron filter immediately after completion. After completing the test, first shut down the analyzer on the tablet, then turn off the main unit power, and finally shut down the vehicle.
