Product Description Alloy 52 /Nilo 52 Glass Sealing Capillary Alloy Tubes Alloy 52 Contains 52% nickel and 48% iron and is widely used in the telecommunications industry.It also finds a application in a wide variety of electronic applications,especially for glass seals.Alloy 52 is one of the glass to metal sealing alloys designed for use with a variety of soft glasses. Intermediate strain relieving can be performed at 1000F.Forging:Forging should be done at a temperature of 2150 F.Cold Working:The alloy is readily cold worked. Deep drawing grade should be specified for that forming operation and annealed grade for general forming.
