Product DescriptionWater cooled screw chillerWater cooled screw chillers are a type of refrigeration equipment that utilize a screw compressor as the core component. These chillers are designed to transfer heat from a refrigerant to a cooling medium, typically water, which is then circulated to remove heat from a space or process.Screw Water Chiller has two types for air cooled screw chiller and water cooled screw chiller. The cooling capacity can be selected from 120KW to 1200KW, It will be suggested adopt scroll compressor water chiller when cooling capacity less than 120KW. Max cooling temperature reach to -25deg.C.Screw chiller is mainly applied to building industry and industrial cooling process in molding of plastic film and PE plastics bag or other industries. The chiller will greatly improve quality of molded products and shorten period of injection molding cycles. The water cooled screw chiller is made up of compressor, evaporator, condenser, refrigeration accessories, electric control system and so on. It will need auxiliary equipment to provide cooling water for the chiller heat exchange. Auxiliary equipment includes: cooling water tower, circulating water pump, insulated water tank.The air cooled screw chiller is used the fan to dissipate heat, so it is used the finned condenser to continuously heat exchange with the air. Therefore, the air cooled screw chiller does not need cooling water tower, but it needs circulating pump and insulated water tank.SpecificationWorking PrincipleThe screw compressor in a water cooled screw chiller compresses refrigerant gas, which is then condensed into a liquid state in a condenser. The liquid refrigerant is expanded through a throttling valve into a low-pressure, gas-liquid mixture. In the evaporator, the liquid refrigerant absorbs heat from the water or other substance being cooled, turning back into a gaseous state. This gaseous refrigerant is then recirculated back to the compressor, completing the refrigeration cycle.Efficiency and Performance:Water cooled screw chillers are known for their high efficiency, particularly in medium to large-scale applications. The screw compressor design offers low noise, low vibration, and high compression efficiency. Additionally, the heat exchanger design, often using a patented double flow equalizer and asymmetric arrangement technology, can effectively improve heat transfer efficiency.Main PartsEvaporator – water or air enters the chiller system. Through the use of refrigerant, it is transformed into a low-pressure gas.Compressor – takes low-pressure gas and compresses it to a higher pressure, which in turn allows it to flow through to the next step, the condenser.Condenser – the high-pressure gas is cooled by refrigerant, whereby it converts back to low-pressure liquid form.Expansion Valve – the liquid returns to the expansion valve and is directed back to the evaporator, and the cycle is repeated.right elevationleft elevationfront elevationTechnical SpecificationsThe normal temperature range is from 5deg.C to 35deg.C.
