The electric motor drives the drum to start rotating, and the granulator or screen carried inside moves with it. The raw materials are subjected to mechanical force inside the drum, and at the same time, they are subjected to compression, shear and friction of the inner wall of the drum, which make the raw materials mix evenly gradually.Granulation process: During the rotation of the drum, the raw materials are subjected to continuous compression and shear forces, and gradually agglomerate and bond together to form granules. For models equipped with rotating knives, the rotating knives cut the granules into the desired size.Pellet discharge: As the cylinder has a certain degree of inclination, under the joint action of friction, centrifugal force and gravity, the mixed material rises to a certain height with the cylinder wall and then rolls down, the rolling material and the rising material produce relative motion and roll into a ball, and the ball rolls along the periphery at the same time along the direction of the cylinder axis from the high end to the low end of the movement, and the final finished pellets from the low end of the discharge port.Performance characteristics High production efficiency: the continuous rotary movement of the drum and the large material handling capacity make the granulation process continuous, which can realise large-scale production and improve the production efficiency.Good pelletising quality: the size, shape and strength of the pellets can be controlled by adjusting the rotational speed of the drum, inclination, material humidity and other parameters, and the pellets produced have a high pelletising rate and a rounded appearance and high strength, which is conducive to the storage, transport and use of the product.Wide adaptability of raw materials: it can handle many types of materials, including fertilisers, chemical raw materials, ore powder, etc. It has a certain adaptability range to the particle size and humidity of raw materials, but it is usually more sensitive to the humidity of raw materials, and the moisture content needs to be strictly controlled.Convenient operation and maintenance: the structure of the equipment is relatively simple, the operation is easy to get started, the daily maintenance and repair work is also more convenient, such as regular inspection and replacement of worn parts, cleaning the cylinder wall.
