Product Description  Molybdenum disulfide is the main component of molybdenite. Black solid powder with metallic luster. Chemical formula MoS2, melting point 1185oC, density 4.80g/cm3(14oC), Mohs hardness 1.0~1.5. Decomposition begins at 1370 ° C, and decomposes to metals molybdenum and sulfur at 1600 ° C. When 315oC is heated in the air, it begins to be oxidized, and the temperature rises, and the oxidation reaction is accelerated.Molybdenum disulfide is insoluble in water, dilute acid and concentrated sulfuric acid, generally insoluble in other acids, bases, organic solvents, but soluble in boiled concentrated sulfuric acid.Slow oxidation occurs at 400 oC to generate molybdenum trioxide.  It is mainly used in automobile industry and machinery industry. Molybdenum disulfide can replace stable solid lubricating material.1. The system has excellent lubricity under high temperature, low temperature, high load, high speed, chemical corrosion and current ultra-vacuum factors.2. It can also replace nonferrous metal film remover and forging lubricant by prolonging lubrication cycle, reducing cost and adjusting office factors.3. Change to lubricating oil, grease, PTFE, nylon, paraffin and stearic acid to regulate lubrication and reduce friction.4. When using threaded connection, please determine the best connection condition. Lubricate the original with a little volatile solvent and sprayed metal surfaces or modified engineering plastics.5.
