Product Description Thermal Analysis Sampling Carbon Cups Description :The disposable Smart Carbon Cup is well engineered to feed accurate, reproducible and consistent information of cooling curve of molten metal, Very high accuracy of Carbon and Silicon, Very high success rate. Carbon cups are used matching with the carbon and sulphur analyzer to quickly analyze carbon content, silicon content and carbon equivalent in molten iron. Carbon cups is designed to provide accurate and consistent reading of cooling curve of molten metal for the calculation of CE/C and Si. Cups are available in square and round shape.500 degree Celsius to produce "resin bonded sand". This resin bonded sand is shot into the pre-heated mold with having the K-type thermocouple tube inside. At the temperature of 250 degree Celsius, the cup is formed by the resin bond. This cup is coated inside with silica for being thermal insulation and then filled in the cup with 15 gram of Tellurium. By means of drying this coated cup at the temperature of 80 degree Celsius for 4 hours, the carbon cup is ready for the casting control.Principle of measurement:Collection of temperature curves is conducted by microprocessor. Contents of carbon and silicon, and quality of molten iron can be calculated by crystallization process of molten iron.Cup-CE without tellurium; is used for "Carbon Equivalent" determination of cast iron.Cup-C with tellurium reliable data for thermal analysis to read CE, C & Si of cast iron.Cup-HC is specially used for determination of high carbon equivalent of cast iron / S.G. Iron.
