The tank body had obvious cracking and powdering before. After evaluation, the anti-corrosion and thermal insulation integrated solution was finally adopted, spraying hollow glass and micro-bead thermal insulation coating. After actual use, it has been unanimously recognized and praised by customers. Spherical tank: The project is located in a tropical monsoon climate area, where the sun and atmospheric radiation heat is relatively strong, there is a lot of rain all year round, and typhoons are frequent. After many comparisons, the designers finally chose an integrated anti-corrosion and thermal insulation solution. The tank surface is sprayed with 2mm hollow glass and micro-bead thermal insulation coating, so that the tank can resist high-intensity corrosion while achieving good thermal insulation effect. Offshore floating production storage and separation unit: The project ultimately used traditional rock wool insulation materials. During the maintenance process, it was found that the corrosion under insulation (CUI) problem was quite serious. Dispersion cylinder:Dispersion cylinder is a common equipment used in the production process of the chemical industry. The temperature of the cooling circulating water in the jacketed dispersion steel jacket must be controlled at 15oC, but the highest temperature in the workshop can reach 35oC in summer, and the humidity is about 95%. Normal temperature storage tank:Normal temperature storage tanks should have a large temperature difference with the outdoor temperature, which is easy to produce condensation water, causing corrosion of the tank body. After cleaning and rust removal, hollow glass and micro-bead thermal insulation coating are sprayed, which completely solves the various problems caused by condensation. Grain and oil storage tanks:Due to the construction limitations on the top, traditional insulation cannot meet the requirements, and the heat loss on the top of the equipment is serious. Most traditional fiber mineral cotton insulation materials contain high SiO2-, Na+, Cl-, and F- ions. At the same time, the characteristics of its open-pore structure easily lead to water vapor accumulation, which accelerates the corrosion of the lower substrate of the insulation material (CUI). Finally, the anti-corrosion, thermal insulation and heat insulation integrated solution was adopted to effectively solve the CUI problem and save maintenance costs. Grain and oil refining factory:The refining filtration equipment is an irregular semicircular body. The filter screen needs to be replaced frequently. Traditional insulation cannot meet the requirements. The equipment has been exposed to 130oC. The surface is easy to cause burns to personnel and the heat loss is large. The integrated solution of thermal insulation is adopted. Hollow glass is used. The microbead thermal insulation coating is sprayed with three millimeters. The surface temperature drops by about 60oC. The unit saves significantly and the investment cost can be recovered in half a year. Vulcanizer:The equipment generates high temperature and is exposed during the production process. It is easy to cause burns, condensation, heat loss and other problems. Finally, the integrated solution of thermal insulation is adopted. Hollow glass is used as the main thermal insulation coating at 170oC to 180oC. The surface is sprayed with ten millimeters of vulcanizer. The surface temperature can drop by 60oC. The benefit can be doubled for each increase in spraying thickness. Grain and oil blade filter: The surface temperature of the equipment is maintained at around 7oC, there is a lot of condensed water, and the surface of the equipment is seriously rusted. The traditional insulation material needs to be dismantled every year for inspection and repair, which not only affects production but also increases costs. The three-millimeter hollow glass micro-beads are sprayed on the surface of the equipment to effectively solve the condensation problem and avoid corrosion problems.
